Younger’s college classes have been shifted into an online format, so he is home, and I am in the process of shifting the classes I teach for local colleges into an online format, so I am home.
Today, for the first time this week, we had to venture beyond our own yard.
“Okay,” I said, as we settled into the car. “No touching our faces until we are back in the house — and only after we wash our hands. Okay?”
And while I was waiting for him to answer in the affirmative, I scratched my face.
I mean, some of us may not be smart enough to survive a virus.
And by “some of us” I mean me.
